The Cultural Counsellor represented the Embassy at the cultural ceremony marking the celebration of the signing of the agreement for the return to Nigeria of the Benin bronzes taken by Germany during colonisation. This was during an official ceremony at the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the presence of Nigerian authorities and the African diplomatic corps in Germany
