MILITARY MISSION
The Military Missions in the Diplomatic Posts of the Republic of Cameroon were created by Decree of the President of the Republic n° 2012/149 of 21 March 2012. In its article 1, it is written that “in addition to the country of accreditation, the area of competence of a Military Mission may extend to several other countries of the sub-region concerned”.
As such, the Military Mission to the Embassies of Cameroon in Germany, the Netherlands and Switzerland with residence in Berlin has as its area of competence Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria, Macedonia, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Albania, Croatia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria and Serbia (art. 8).
The Military Mission is headed by an Officer appointed by Decree of the President of the Republic and bearing the title of Military Advisor. (Art.2)
