THE YAOUNDÉ SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST COLLEGE VISITS THE CAMEROON EMBASSY IN BERLIN
On August 18, 2025, His Excellency the Ambassador of Cameroon to Germany had the honor of receiving a delegation from the Yaoundé Seventh-day Adventist College in the Embassy’s conference room in Berlin.
The 16-member delegation, which included academic officials and parents, was led by Reverend Pastor NKONDA Omer Aristide, who is also the Chairman of the Board of the Yaoundé Adventist College. They were accompanied by Mrs. Helma Grote LAMBERS, coordinator of the Gymnasium Syke in Bremen, a long-standing partner of the Adventist College.
This meeting was part of the celebration of the 15th anniversary of the educational and cultural partnership between the Yaoundé Adventist College and Gymnasium Syke. Initiated in 2010, this exemplary cooperation promotes intercultural exchanges, youth mobility, and mutual enrichment through the sharing of educational and cultural values.
Beyond its symbolic nature, this collaboration highlights the importance of cultural and educational diplomacy as a vector for bringing people closer together, and as a lever for strengthening the skills of young people in a globalized world. It also helps to shape open-minded, tolerant generations capable of thriving in diverse environments.
The visit was marked by warm exchanges between the Embassy representatives and their guests, followed by a powerful spiritual moment: a prayer delivered by the Reverend Pastor, imploring peace for Cameroon, serenity for its diplomatic missions around the world, and the smooth running of the upcoming electoral processes.
