CAMEROON’S PARTICIPATION IN THE 69TH GENERAL CONFERENCE OF THE IAEA (VIENNA, AUSTRIA, SEPTEMBER 15-19, 2025)
The Ambassador of Cameroon to the Federal Republic of Germany and Permanent Representative of Cameroon to the United Nations Office in Vienna led our country’s delegation to the 69th General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) from September 15 to 19, 2025.
The delegation included, in addition to the Ambassador, Mr. SIMO Augustin, Director General of the Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Authority (ASRAN); Mr. Patrice ELE ABIAMA, National Coordinator of the African Regional Cooperative Agreement for Research, Development and Training related to Nuclear Science and Technology (AFRA); and Mrs. BABILAH BOBLIA Blandine, representing the Ministry of External Relations.
The delegation participated in various activities on the agenda. On this occasion, and following the tradition for all represented nations, the Head of Delegation read Cameroon’s National Statement from the podium of the IAEA.
