FUNERAL CEREMONY FOR THE LATE PROF. HORST KÖHLER, FORMER GERMAN PRESIDENT

On February 18, 2025, the Berlin Cathedral hosted the funeral ceremonies for the late Prof. Horst Köhler, former President of Germany. The event was attended by the Federal President, German authorities, and members of the diplomatic corps accredited to Berlin.

H.E. Victor Ndocki represented Cameroon at the ceremony.

Following the religious service, several speeches were delivered by H.E. Frank-Walter Steinmeier, Federal President of Germany; Dr. Heinz Fischer, former President of Austria; Uhuru Kenyatta, former President of Kenya; and Dr. Theodor Waigel, former German Minister.

The ceremony concluded with a military farewell tribute on the esplanade of the cathedral.
