AMBACAM BERLIN, NOW CONNECTED TO 2ND GENERATION CONSULAR SERVICES

An inter-ministerial mission of E-VISA teams, led by Mr. OYONO OYONO Jean Stanislas, Inspector General of Consular Services (MINREX), visited Berlin from January 19 to 21 as part of the deployment of second-generation consular services.

This second wave involves the digitalization of the processing of consular cards, ordinary laissez-passers, and mortuary authorizations. The applications for these services will henceforth be carried out exclusively online via the Evisa platform, following the example of entry visa applications. The specific procedures will be outlined by the embassy in the coming days.

This step marks a significant advancement in digitalization and the improvement of consular services, benefiting users in general and Cameroonian compatriots in the diaspora in particular, who will no longer have to travel long distances to access the aforementioned services.
