CAMEROON

Cameroon is a country in central Africa located towards the Gulf of Guinea, a little above the equator. It extends in latitude between 1 ° 40 and 13 ° (north) then in longitude between 8 ° 80 and 16 ° 10 (west). These data show that it is bordering the Congo Basin in the south, it reaches the Sahelian shores of Lake Chad to the north. Let us note that it schematically has the shape of a triangle of 475,442 km² area, and we find in Cameroon a very wide variety of bio-geographic domains, and demographically, the west and the north are attached to the highlands. densities of the Gulf of Guinea countries, while the south and east have very low densities in Central Africa: this is why it is called Africa in miniature. In short, the geographic coordinates clearly indicate that Cameroon is a country in the northern hemisphere and it shares its borders with 6 African countries.
