Presentation of the Letters of Credence of His Excellency NDOCKI Victor, Ambassador of the Republic of Cameroon to His Excellency Frank-Walter STEINMEIER, President of the Federal Republic of Germany.

His Excellency NDOCKI Victor, Ambassador of the Republic of Cameroon presented his Letters of Credence to His Excellency Frank-Walter STEINMEIER, President of the Federal Republic of Germany, on 6 May 2021. The ceremony took place at Bellevue Castle, the official residence of the German President.

During the audience granted to the Ambassador by the President at the end of the ceremony, His Excellency Frank-Walter STEINMEIER praised the quality of the relationship between Cameroon and Germany. He hoped that the arrival of a new Ambassador of Cameroon would pave the way for more cooperation between the two countries, given the special place that Germany grants o Cameroon.

His Excellency NDOCKI Victor, after conveying the greetings of His Excellency Paul BIYA to his counterpart, expressed Cameroon’s gratitude for the support of the German authorities, and lauded the relationship between the two countries, characterized by exchanges of all kinds.

The Ambassador also presented to the President the situation in Cameroon.

His Excellency Frank-Walter STEINMEIER showed particular interest in the various points raised, while wishing that all possible problems be resolved as soon as possible.

In addition, major international issues were discussed, such as the damage caused by the corona virus pandemic throughout the world.

The President pointed out that the third wave of the pandemic in Germany is being brought under control. He expressed the hope that Cameroon would benefit from more vaccines under the COVAX project.
