A Cameroonian delegation at the Port of Hamburg
A delegation from Cameroon visited the Port of Hamburg on Friday 02 June 2023, at the premises of HAMBURG PORT CONSULTING (HPC).
Led by Mr Alamine OUSMANE MEY, Cameroon’s Minister of the Economy, Planning and Regional Development, the members of the Cameroonian delegation discussed the development of the Port Autonome de Douala (PAD) with their partners.
PAD officials presented the institution, which is Cameroon’s main port and one of the largest in the Gulf of Guinea. The PAD is currently implementing an ambitious strategic plan to develop its infrastructure and improve its services, for which HPC’s expertise could make a valuable contribution. During the discussions, a multi-stakeholder support approach was envisaged.
The visit took place in the presence of Mr Victor NDOCKI, Cameroon’s Ambassador to Germany, Mr Patrick ENDEZOUMOU, First Counsellor at the Embassy, Prof. Stefan LIEBING, Honorary Consul of Cameroon in Hamburg and Dr André KWAM, Honorary Consul of Germany in Douala.
